About The Position

Action Day Schools is hiring multiple Preschool Teachers at its Campbell and San Jose locations. Teachers guide children through the school’s updated curriculum and exploratory play, while modeling knowledge of child growth and development. The role includes providing high-quality care, developing classroom management and parent-relations skills, and creating positive, memorable experiences for children in a fun and loving learning environment.

Professional development includes hands-on training with a mentor teacher, one-to-one coaching, team check-ins with the Leadership Team, a new-hire welcome workshop, staff development days, and CPR/First Aid certification course offerings. Tuition loan payment plans are available to help Team Support Teachers complete core Child Development courses and become teacher-qualified. Teachers may collaborate with colleagues to design classroom environments and pursue career growth opportunities, including leadership roles as a Head or Master Teacher or in school administration.

Requirements

• 12 ECE units required.
• A love and passion for working with young children.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A reliable, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
