About The Position
Learn And Play Montessori Schools is building a connected community of thriving, high-performing schools with people at the center of its organization. The Preschool Teacher works at the Centerville Campus and helps create a warm, nurturing classroom where children can learn, play, and grow. The school’s Montessori + STEM™ curriculum promotes children’s social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development and is implemented to reflect each child’s unique needs. The teacher builds meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues and contributes to the success of the school.
Requirements
- 12 core ECE units and completion of an infant/toddler course.
- Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
- Willingness to change diapers.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to work within regular operating hours.
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
- Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
- Partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, growth, and engagement.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
- Implement the Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM™ curriculum in a way that is consistent with each child’s unique needs.
