About The Position
The Goddard School located at 7827 N. University Drive, Parkland, FL 33067 is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher. Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Successfully completed state-required pre-service training.
- Develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, families, and faculty members.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
- 2–3 years of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using the Wonder of Learning curriculum to engage children and support their growth.
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate openly, effectively, and positively with families and guardians about children’s progress and daily activities.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, uphold health and safety standards and licensing regulations, and ensure their well-being.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching skills.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development to inform activities and share insights with families.
- Support Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers and foster a collaborative, positive team environment.
- Model and implement positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution.
