About The Position

Learn And Play Montessori Schools is hiring a full-time Preschool Teacher at its Centerville Campus. Teachers provide a warm, patient, and understanding classroom environment that encourages children to learn, play, and grow. The school’s Montessori + STEM™ curriculum promotes children’s social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development and is implemented to meet each child’s unique needs. Teachers build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues and partner with families and staff to support the school’s success.

Requirements

• 12 core ECE units and a completed infant/toddler course.
• Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
• Willingness to change diapers.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, growth, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Implement the Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM™ curriculum in a way that meets each child’s unique needs.
