About The Position

Early Care and Education is a nationally accredited preschool program dedicated to raising the bar in early childhood education. Our mission is to exceed state and national standards while creating a joyful, play-based learning environment where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are now hiring teachers for: Infant classrooms Toddler classrooms Preschool classrooms Pre-K classrooms After-school programs for elementary-aged children

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Ability to engage positively with children, families, and co-workers
Physical ability to bend, stoop, and move quickly with active children
For after-school teachers: Valid Texas driver’s license and willingness to drive a mini bus

Nice To Haves

Experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool (preferred, but not required — we provide training)

Responsibilities

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for your assigned age group
Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth
Maintain accurate records, including attendance, food program compliance, developmental milestones, and accident reports
Communicate with parents about their child’s daily activities, progress, and needs
Use positive behavior management techniques, including Conscious Discipline
Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to ensure the success of all children in our school family
