About The Position
The Learning Experience - Foxboro is seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and educational classroom environment for young learners. This role focuses on implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, supporting kindergarten readiness, and helping children develop a lifelong love of learning through exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences. At The Learning Experience, we believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, meaningful relationships, and engaging educational opportunities. Our preschool classrooms help children build confidence, independence, and the foundational academic and social-emotional skills needed for future success.
Requirements
- EEC Preschool Teacher Certification required
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC and background check requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prior preschool teaching experience preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to create engaging and educational learning experiences
- Passion for early childhood education and helping children succeed
Responsibilities
- Lead a preschool classroom and implement engaging daily learning experiences
- Support children's cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development
- Create lesson plans and classroom activities aligned with developmental milestones
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom culture
- Guide classroom routines, transitions, and behavior management strategies
- Observe and document children's developmental progress
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom activities and child development
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment
- Follow all Massachusetts EEC licensing and safety requirements
