About The Position
As a Preschool Teacher at A Primrose School of Midlothian at Waterford, you will create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop children’s confidence and independence. You will help guide these little ones through small group instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information. You will spend your days building genuine relationships with each child, helping them learn about language and literacy, science, life skills, and more. You will work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum. You will maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence. You will discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.
Requirements
- Passion for teaching and building genuine relationships with children.
- Ability to implement lesson plans and maintain a classroom environment.
