About The Position

St. Joseph Catholic School is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and faith-filled educator to lead our 3-year-old and 4-year-old preschool classroom. This teacher will play a vital role in creating a joyful, structured, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters early academic skills, social-emotional growth, and a love for learning rooted in Catholic values. Our preschool program emphasizes hands-on learning, purposeful play, and strong routines, helping students build a solid foundation in early literacy, numeracy, and social development. Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 3–5) preferred
  • Strong understanding of child development and early learning best practices

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for 3- and 4-year-old students
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
  • Support the development of early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills
  • Incorporate play-based and hands-on learning experiences
  • Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress and development
  • Integrate Catholic teachings, prayer, and values into daily routines
