About The Position

Action Day Schools is hiring multiple Preschool Teachers for its Campbell and San Jose locations. Teachers guide children through an updated curriculum and exploratory play, while modeling knowledge of child growth and development. The role includes providing high-quality care, developing classroom management and parent-relations skills, and creating positive, memorable experiences for children in a fun, supportive learning environment. Compensation is $19.23–$28 per hour, depending on individual experience, education, and position requirements. Professional development offerings include mentor-teacher training, one-to-one coaching, leadership-team check-ins, a new-hire welcome workshop, staff development days, and CPR/First Aid certification courses. Tuition loan payment plans are available to help Team Support Teachers complete core Child Development courses and become teacher-qualified. Teachers can collaborate with colleagues on classroom environments and pursue career growth toward Head Teacher, Master Teacher, or school administration roles.

Requirements

12 ECE units required.
Experience with children preferred.
Love and passion for working with young children.
Excellent communication skills.
Reliable, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
