About The Position
Alliance Center for Education is seeking passionate and energetic Preschool Teachers to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children aged 3 to 5 years, focusing on fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The position emphasizes implementing individualized, play-based curriculum, collaborating with teaching assistants, maintaining a safe classroom, supporting gross motor development, building relationships with families, and representing the organization professionally. The goal is to inspire, nurture, and empower children and families.
Requirements
- Passion for early childhood education.
- Experience working with children ages birth to 5 years.
- Minimum of CDA (or willingness to obtain within 1 year) for infant/toddler teachers.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation.
- DCDEE Qualifying Letter (Background Check with Fingerprints).
- Official Education Transcript.
- Current Physical Exam.
- Pre-employment drug screening and ongoing random screenings.
