About The Position
The Learning Experience - Ledgewood is seeking an enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to create an engaging classroom where children are excited to learn, explore, and grow. As a Preschool Teacher, you'll help children strengthen their early academic skills, language, independence, friendships, and confidence through purposeful play and hands-on learning experiences.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional daycare, preschool, childcare, or early childhood experience preferred
- Preschool classroom experience is a plus
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Dependable, nurturing, energetic, and team-oriented
Responsibilities
- Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Preschool classroom
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create engaging activities supporting early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance
- Observe children's development and maintain required documentation
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with classroom support teachers and center leadership
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
- Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
