About The Position

The Nolensville Learning Center is hiring a part-time Preschool Teacher for its infant class. Available schedules are Monday and Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday, or all four days. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at $16 per hour, with an immediate start. Stay-at-home parents, preschool teachers, and licensed teachers are welcome to apply. The role involves supporting infants’ learning and age-appropriate development, following a curriculum that includes fundamentals such as shapes, colors, numbers, and letters, and teaching the Bible curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Engage children and earn their trust and attention with patience and care.
• Help children learn to cooperate and participate in activities that encourage learning and age-appropriate development.
• Prepare lessons by gathering materials and setting up activities.
• Follow the curriculum to teach fundamentals such as shapes, colors, numbers, and letters.
• Encourage students to use language skills and develop social skills and manners.
• Follow licensing requirements and school-wide safety procedures.
• Work as a team member and communicate regularly with parents and co-workers.
• Teach the Bible curriculum.
