About The Position

The Learning Experience - Ramsey is hiring a creative, enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to help preschoolers build confidence, develop friendships, and prepare for kindergarten. The teacher creates engaging learning experiences, supports children's developmental milestones, and builds strong relationships with families.

The role teaches The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through hands-on learning, exploration, and play, supporting early literacy, math, communication, social-emotional development, and kindergarten readiness. The teacher works with fellow teachers and center leadership to provide a supportive, safe, and welcoming classroom environment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of early childhood development and preschool classroom practices.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Creative, patient, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing, education, and background screening requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred, but not required.
• Previous preschool teaching or professional childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate preschool activities.
• Teach The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through hands-on learning experiences.
• Support early literacy, math, language, and kindergarten readiness skills.
• Encourage independence, creativity, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships.
• Maintain consistent classroom routines and use positive behavior guidance.
• Observe and document children's developmental progress.
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
