ABCD has a current and immediate opening for a fulltime Preschool Assistant Teacher in Training.
Requirements
- Will obtain Childhood Development Associate (CDA)certification within 6 months - 1 year of hire
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited institution.
- Associate degree in a related field with 6 credit-bearing courses relevant to competencies in early childhood education AND experience working with young children.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Lead Teacher and Education Coordinator promotes the theories and principles of child growth and development, early childhood education, and family support.
- Puts into practice theories and sound principles of child education.
- You will remain in training until you have successfully obtained your CDA.
