About The Position

Help little learners build big possibilities! Join Cross Country Education as a Developmental Preschool Special Education Teacher in Maricopa, AZ, providing specialized instruction and support to help young students grow with confidence throughout the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves providing specialized instruction and individualized support to preschool-aged students with developmental and educational needs. You will develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities and individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student growth and developmental goals. Monitoring student progress through data collection and assessments, adjusting instruction and interventions based on individual needs, and supporting positive classroom behaviors are key aspects of this position. Collaboration with families, educators, and related service providers is essential to promote student success.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Credential and Early Childhood Special Education Certification
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred
Experience supporting students with behavioral needs
Knowledge of data assessment practices preferred
