About The Position

The Service & Evaluations Coordinator is responsible for entering and maintaining accurate student data into company systems. Family of Kidz has brought together highly qualified teams of professionals who work diligently to help children with special needs, from birth to adulthood. Our focus is on establishing a strong understanding of each child’s needs and teaching them skills that lead to greater independence and an enhanced quality of life.

Requirements

Excellent written communication skills
Excellent time management/organizational skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
High School Diploma with some college preferred
3-5 years office experience
CLAIMS experience
Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

Process all incoming referrals for Early Intervention (EI) and Preschool Special Education (CPSE).
Enter and maintain child demographic information in the system.
Assist with processing cases and scheduling services for EI and CPSE children.
File and save documentation in the appropriate records as needed.
Complete data cleanup and maintenance projects in CLAIMS.
Ensure all required Parent Packet paperwork is received and properly distributed.
Communicate with parents to discuss their child’s needs and schedule appointments.
Review information from Early Intervention Coordinators and School District Coordinators regarding each child’s needs.
Coordinate with home and community therapists to schedule service appointments.
