About The Position
The Village Learning Center is seeking qualified Lead Teachers who have a genuine desire to positively impact the lives of young children. The ideal candidate will have an unwavering passion for providing children with an exceptional early learning experience, and possess the energy, compassion, and drive to execute it. This role is suitable for individuals with prior childcare experience or those new to the industry, as long as they are dedicated to nurturing young minds. The Village Learning Center is part of the Early Learning Academies (ELA) community.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must meet all state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.
- A valid driver's license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.
- Associate's Degree in ECE or Child Development OR 6 ECE credits AND 9 credits in either education, psychology, health care, nursing, or any field related to child growth and development OR CDA OR CCP OR Group Teacher endorsement from the NJ Registry for Childhood Professionals.
