About The Position

The Learning Experience in Astoria is seeking a passionate, experienced, and highly motivated Lead Preschool Teacher to join their team. This role is responsible for leading a structured, engaging, and developmentally rich classroom that prepares children ages 2–4 for continued academic and social success. The company is looking for a strong classroom leader who understands early childhood development, can confidently manage behavior, and is able to implement curriculum in a meaningful and engaging way. At The Learning Experience, early education is made joyful, engaging, and fun, so children are happy to learn, play, and grow. The curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play, and Grow under the care of nurturing teachers and staff. TLE has created a full cast of characters that become little learners’ educators, partners, and friends through their preschool education journey, each with a unique personality and area of interest, bringing learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
