About The Position
The Learning Experience - Andover is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. We're looking for an educator who loves helping preschoolers become confident, curious, and increasingly independent learners. As a Lead Teacher, you'll create an engaging classroom where children develop early academic skills, friendships, creativity, and a genuine love of learning.
Requirements
- Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher Certification required
- Must meet all applicable Massachusetts EEC requirements
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional preschool or early childhood education experience strongly preferred
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for early childhood education and supporting children's development
Responsibilities
- Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Preschool classroom
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create engaging activities supporting early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive behavior guidance
- Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation
- Prepare classroom activities and learning materials
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers and classroom support staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and engaging classroom
- Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing, health, and safety requirements
