About The Position

The Preschool Head Teacher works with children ages 3–5 in an NAEYC-accredited early learning program in Bethel, Connecticut. The role calls for a compassionate, dynamic teacher who collaborates effectively and builds strong relationships with colleagues, families, and children. Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, or any bachelor's degree with at least 12 credits in Early Childhood Education, or willingness to complete 12 ECE credits.
• Existing knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards, NAEYC standards, and Connecticut state licensing regulations.
• Collaborative team-player approach.
• Dedication to attending mandatory professional development trainings.
• First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it.

• Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish.
