About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic Head Teacher with a passion for teaching children ages 3–5 in an NAEYC-accredited Early Learning Program in Bethel, Connecticut. The Head Teacher builds strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues and works collaboratively with the team. The role requires attendance at all mandatory professional development trainings and First Aid/CPR certification, which must be obtained if not already held.

This is a full-time, year-round position, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour workdays. The employer offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and free YMCA membership.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, or a bachelor's degree with at least 12 credits in Early Childhood Education, or willingness to take 12 ECE credits.
• Existing knowledge of, or willingness to acquire knowledge about, the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards, NAEYC standards, and Connecticut state licensing regulations.
• First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Dedication to attending all mandatory professional development trainings.
