This part-time position is essential in maintaining our facilities, ensuring that our school is a safe and welcoming place for children, parents, and staff. START THIS WEEKEND!!!
Requirements
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and address their needs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep.
- Ensure that all equipment and tools are in good working condition and properly stored.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify any maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and address issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
