About The Position
LeafSpring Schools is seeking a caring, knowledgeable, and relationship-centered Registered Nurse to support our campuses and help us maintain safe, healthy environments for children and staff. This is a part-time position, approximately 30 hours per week, and includes travel between multiple LeafSpring campuses. The pay range is $26–$32 per hour, based on experience, and a child care tuition discount is included.
Requirements
- Holds an active Registered Nurse license
- Strong knowledge of pediatric health, medical requirements, and illness-prevention practices
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Warm, dependable, organized, and comfortable supporting multiple locations
- Values collaboration and relationship-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or early childhood settings is preferred
Responsibilities
- Work alongside our Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to support the health and well-being of children
- Help ensure all campuses consistently follow state requirements and LeafSpring’s illness and exclusion guidelines
- Provide guidance to staff regarding health procedures, medical requirements, and individual care needs
- Review health documentation and support medication and care-plan compliance
- Communicate thoughtfully and professionally with families and team members
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with young children, families, and staff
