About The Position

The Learning Experience - Andover is seeking an experienced Center Director to lead our school with a strong focus on educational excellence, operational success, team development, and family experience. This leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced early childhood professional who enjoys developing educators, building meaningful relationships with families, and creating a positive environment where children and staff can thrive. As Center Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the school while supporting enrollment, maintaining regulatory compliance, developing your team, and ensuring a high-quality early learning experience.

Requirements

• Massachusetts Director I and Director II qualifications required
• Minimum of two years of leadership experience in a licensed early childhood education center
• Strong knowledge of Massachusetts EEC regulations and licensing requirements
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing early childhood educators
• Experience supporting enrollment, family relationships, and center operations
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for developing educators and delivering high-quality early childhood programs

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for daily center operations, educational programs, and staff
• Recruit, onboard, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of early childhood educators
• Ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing regulations and center standards
• Promote exceptional classroom quality and support continuous teacher development
• Monitor staffing, classroom ratios, scheduling, and operational needs
• Build strong relationships with current and prospective families
• Support tours, enrollment, family engagement, and retention efforts
• Monitor center performance, budgets, staffing, and operational goals
• Maintain required licensing documentation and center records
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture for children, families, and employees
• Partner with ownership to implement strategic initiatives and achieve center goals
