About The Position

Coordinates creative arts for large rooms and worship experiences for the Preschool ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano Campus (“PBC-PC”).

Comfortable being on stage in front of kids
Excellent organizational and management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong interpersonal skills
Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Ability to work a Sunday - Thursday schedule with occasional Sundays as needed
Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time
Occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as walking, stooping, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 30 pounds without assistance

Prepare Preschool large room Sunday worship experiences and special events (décor, lighting, props, tech and media)
Ensure Preschool worship experiences reinforce curriculum teaching points
Maintain Preschool creative areas
Assist as directed in Preschool large rooms
Recruit and coordinate volunteers for Preschool creative arts (décor, worship teams)
Collaborate with Student Ministry to coordinate and schedule teens to serve
Ensure all creative flows are provided to volunteers in a timely manner
Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
Assist in writing scripts and flows for Preschool worship experiences as directed
Create décor and props as necessary for special events
Assist with general oversight of props, sets and costumes
Collaborate in creative planning for special events (Adventure Week, Christmas, etc.)
Produce and post social media content for Preschool
Other duties as assigned
