About The Position

Saint Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza is seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Teacher to join their early childhood education team. This role involves shaping the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of children through engaging, age-appropriate activities. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing classroom environment that supports early learning and development, grounded in best practices like Project Construct and Creative Curriculum. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative setting and is passionate about early childhood education.

Requirements

• Preschool childcare center experience
• 1 year of applicable experience
• Confidence in leading activities
• Responsiveness to children's individual needs
• Commitment to building strong partnerships with parents through regular communication and collaboration
• Maintain CPR and First Aid certification

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in a safe, nurturing environment
• Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally sound lesson plans
• Support kindergarten readiness through engaging curriculum
