About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Assistant to help in a classical and Catholic PK3 classroom. This position is for up to 14 hours per week at our center in St. Leo, Florida. No teaching certification or formal teaching experience is required, as all necessary training will be provided. The role involves assisting in a highly structured classroom environment, adhering to RCA standards for instruction and classroom management. Applicants must be available for mandatory training prior to the start of employment. Childcare and nursery are provided during working hours. This is an hourly position with specific working hours on Mondays and Thursdays during the academic year.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all appropriate sacraments.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization.
• Timeliness.
• Traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Must be available to attend mandatory training on August 11, 12, or 13, 2026 (TBD) prior to working in the classroom (8am-5pm).
• Must complete a background check.
• Must complete RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.

Nice To Haves

• Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children.
• Experience in ministry in your Catholic parish.
• Experience teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes.
• Experience teaching your own children.
• Experience teaching in a classical or private school.
