About The Position
Human Resources announces an opening for a 1.0 FTE Preschool Assistant, located at Claremont Elementary School. This role requires a patient, flexible, and organized individual with the ability to communicate with parents and collaborate effectively within a team. The assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a teacher.
Requirements
- Experience working with elementary students.
- Meet the requirements of the NCLB and Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) at the time of hire.
- A high school diploma.
- An Associate Degree or two years of college study.
- At least 60 semester hours or a score of at least 455 on the Parapro Test.
- Experience working with children.
- Willingness to learn specialized techniques.
