About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Assistant to support a classical and Catholic Preschool classroom. This role involves assisting with up to 14 hours of work per week at the West Valley center, serving families in central Phoenix and West Valley areas. While formal teaching experience or certification is not required, a love for babies and toddlers is essential. The academy offers instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. This is an hourly position with childcare/nursery provided. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will receive training on instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good organization, punctuality, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must actively practice the Catholic faith, including receiving appropriate sacraments.

Requirements

Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
Deep love for the Catholic faith.
Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
Strong communication skills.
Good organization.
Timeliness.
A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
Must pass a background check.
Must complete RCA Safe Child training.
