Requirements

At least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED
6–12 months of experience in a licensed preschool or childcare program (for Qualified Teachers)
12–24 months of experience working with children under age three in a licensed childcare setting (for Infant & Toddler Caregivers)
Infant/Toddler training (or willingness to complete—we'll help!) (for Infant & Toddler Caregivers)
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate).

Nice To Haves

CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) (for Qualified Teachers)

Responsibilities

Create a warm, welcoming classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged.
Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
Support children's cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional development through play-based learning.
Encourage creativity through art, music, sensory activities, outdoor play, and storytelling.
Build strong partnerships with families through positive communication.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to create an engaging, supportive classroom environment.
Celebrate each child's unique strengths while helping them reach developmental milestones.
