Requirements

CDA or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (for Teachers)
6–12 months relevant classroom experience (for Teachers)
High school diploma or GED (for Infant/Toddler Caregivers)
Infant/Toddler training (provided by employer)
12–24 months experience with children under 36 months in a licensed center or preschool (for Infant/Toddler Caregivers)
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate).

Nice To Haves

Limited Aide positions may be available for individuals not yet qualified, with support for completing training to meet PATCH Caregiver qualifications.

Support social, emotional, language, and early academic development through play‑based, developmentally appropriate learning.
