Preschool & Toddler Aides help create safe, happy, engaging classrooms where children learn to trust, explore, make friends, and discover what they can do. Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Enjoy working with young children and helping them learn through play
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate)

• New to childcare? That's okay! We have a limited number of entry-level Aide positions available while you complete the requirements to become PATCH qualified—and we'll pay for your CDA certification.

Responsibilities

• Help create a classroom where children feel safe, included, and excited to learn
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Participate in art, music, stories, sensory play, outdoor activities, and hands-on learning
• Encourage independence, curiosity, communication, and confidence
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and your teaching team
• Help keep the classroom clean, organized, and ready for the next adventure
