About The Position
The Classroom Aide supports teachers in creating a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for young children. This role assists with classroom activities, supervision, daily routines, and helping children learn and grow throughout the day.

Responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher with classroom activities and daily routines
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and transitions
- Encourage positive behavior and help children develop social and learning skills
- Assist with setting up learning materials, toys, and classroom centers
- Help clean and sanitize toys, tables, chairs, and common classroom areas
- Greet children and families in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Communicate with teachers, families, and staff as needed
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and special events
- Complete basic classroom documentation and reports as assigned
- Follow all Y policies, safety procedures, and OCC regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
