About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Class A Delivery Driver for its Rawlins, Wyoming location. This role involves driving a truck to deliver beverage products to customers, operating within highway, rural, and city street conditions while adhering to federal and state regulations. The driver will work independently to manage established routes, communicate effectively with supervisors regarding issues and customer concerns, and maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and variances. The position requires the operation of a computerized inventory and invoicing system, as well as hand trucks and electric pallet jacks. Responsibilities also include collecting empty containers, supervising truck loading/unloading, securing loads, obtaining customer signatures, performing daily truck inspections and basic maintenance, assembling Point of Sale (POS) materials, and wearing company-provided uniforms and safety equipment. Admiral Beverage produces and distributes a wide range of beverages and aims to be a strategic business partner in the communities it serves, with operations across the Mountain-West states and Alaska.

Requirements

  • Class A CDL required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to operate hand trucks and electric pallet jacks.
  • Ability to perform daily inspection and routine maintenance on truck.
  • Ability to construct or assemble display aids from POS materials.
  • Must wear company-provided uniform and safety devices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with computerized inventory and invoicing systems.
  • Familiarity with beverage product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Drives truck to deliver beverage product to customer's place of business on highway, rural, and city street conditions in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Works without direct supervision to deliver all products for established routes.
  • Effectively communicates issues and customer concerns to supervisor.
  • Records sales, buy back, delivery and variance information on daily sales or delivery record.
  • Operates computerized inventory and invoicing system to accurately record stops, deliveries, and any errors on the route.
  • Operates hand trucks and electric pallet jacks.
  • Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
  • Conducts and/or supervises truck loading and unloading and secures loads.
  • Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
  • Performs daily inspection and routine fluid, air, and oil maintenance on truck and maintains clean vehicle.
  • Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
  • Wears Company provided uniform and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and standards and procedures.
