Prepress Technician
About The Position
Our Prepress Department is key in delivering exceptional design to our customers! Prepress encompasses using professional prepress, and imaging software to design publications, create graphics, and prepare publications for production on conventional offset or digital printing presses and/or copiers and printers. Requirements
- 2- or 4-year trade school acceptable; College/university degree preferred
- 5+ years experience in prepress; both hardware and software
- Experience in macOS and/or Windows networked environments
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXPress, Word, Excel, and Publisher
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat production plug-ins (Enfocus, and Quite) is a plus
- Experience with personalized database printing (variable data printing) is a plus
- Working knowledge of HTML, Java/JavaScript, and Web development a plus
