Requirements
- High levels of attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team and individually
- Position requires mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read a ruler metric and standard and perform basic math
- Ability to read and understand layouts, set up instructions and production instructions
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations or print operations preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 Years of previous printing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for positioning digital files per scheduling’s request and maintaining all equipment as needed while following all safety and quality control standards.
- Imposition file for press per scheduling request
- Check quality control of plates
- Perform general maintenance on all platemaking devices
- Inventory and order supplies as needed
- Create plates as needed for pressroom
- Thoroughly understand and operate platemaking machinery
- Adheres to and promotes all safety, security and environmental policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
