Marin French Cheese is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our Bistro team! In this role, you’ll help prepare delicious sandwiches, salads, grab-and-go items, and made-to-order dishes that showcase our award-winning cheeses and locally inspired flavors. Requirements
- Previous prep cook, fast food, or kitchen experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
- Must be able to speak and understand English; Spanish is a plus
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with made-to-order menu items during service hours
- Label, date, store, and rotate ingredients properly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and daily prep lists
- Support opening and closing duties
- Work closely with the Bistro and Retail teams to keep operations running smoothly
