About The Position

The main purpose of this job is to be responsible for food preparation and kitchen support. Work Schedule Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm (Flexibility required for occasional early morning breakfast event or early evening event)

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of kitchen preparation and sanitation, including knowledge of best practices
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Keep the kitchen clean and orderly
  • Ensure the Chef is able to prepare the menu efficiently by ensuring all ingredients are in stock, parboiling foods, and season and prepare the necessary ingredients for cooking
  • Wash cutlery and dishes
  • Prepare some dishes such as salads or other less complex menu items
  • Set out all of the Chef’s ingredients before each shift and refill as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
