About The Position
Prep Cooks on Chili’s Heart of House team help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and supporting kitchen operations. They provide dependable, fast service while following Chili’s recipes and safety and sanitation procedures. The role involves completing prep work, stocking and setting up stations, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Properly execute all recipe procedures.
- Prepare a variety of foods using different preparation methods.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
