About The Position
Prep Cooks are part of Chili's Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. They prepare food and complete assigned prep work while following recipes and company safety and sanitation procedures. The role is suited to someone who takes pride in teamwork and contributes to a safe, welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Properly execute all recipe procedures.
- Prepare a variety of foods using different preparation methods.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
