About The Position
Prep Cooks are part of Chili's Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role involves preparing food according to recipes and assigned prep work, stocking and setting up stations, and following company safety and sanitation procedures. Prep Cooks contribute to a safe and welcoming environment while working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Properly execute all recipe procedures.
- Prepare a variety of foods using different methods of preparation.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
