Requirements

Be a team player, including the ability to communicate well with others.
Basic reading comprehension.
Basic math, weight, and measurement skills (pounds, ounces, etc.).

Responsibilities

Prepare food and ingredients to be cooked in kettles of mixed in mixers.
Prepare and maintain efficient setup of the prep room.
Understand kitchen needs for the day.
Initiate and ensure all batches are accurate and signed off.
Weigh prepped ingredients as needed.
Open boxed ingredients and decant into pans.
Ensure that equipment is returned to the dish room in an efficient manner.
Understand and operate stick blenders in a safe manner.
Inspect equipment after cleaning and before use to ensure that they are clean.
Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards including food sanitation (GMP) guidelines.
