About The Position

Cleans and prepares food for Deli Attendants as needed and helps ensure that guests have a favorable dining experience. The position is in a 24/7 high-energy casino environment. A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred, and one year of kitchen experience is needed; on-the-job training may be available. The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.

Requirements

• Ability to use all kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Ability to read and write basic instructions.
• Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to be creative.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe food handling.
• One year of kitchen experience is needed; on-the-job training may be available.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.
• Ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach while carrying food product, equipment, or trash/waste weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, carry, and deliver food items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout a scheduled shift.
• Ability to work around 500-degree ovens and in 40-degree walk-in refrigerators.
• Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a 10-hour shift.
