About The Position

Help turn great ingredients into great mountain meals! As a Prep Cook at Mt. Hood Meadows, you’ll play an important role in preparing the food that keeps our guests fueled throughout their day on the mountain. You’ll work behind the scenes in our Core Kitchen, preparing ingredients and recipes with consistency, care, and attention to quality. You’ll follow recipes and portioning guidelines, complete daily prep assignments, use proper knife and food-handling techniques, and keep your workstation clean, organized, and ready for production. You’ll work alongside cooks and other Food & Beverage team members in a fast-paced kitchen where teamwork, organization, and attention to detail help keep service running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with food, staying active, and building their skills in a professional kitchen. No previous kitchen experience is required—just a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in the busy rhythm of a mountain kitchen.

Requirements

  • Minimum Age -16 years
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon Food Handlers Permit
  • Available to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
