About The Position

Prep Cooks, known at Chili’s as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and supporting kitchen operations. They provide dependable, fast service and contribute to a safe and welcoming environment. The role involves executing recipe procedures, preparing a variety of foods using different methods, following safety and sanitation procedures, and stocking and setting up stations.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly execute all recipe procedures.
• Prepare a variety of foods using different methods of preparation.
• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
