About The Position
Prep Cooks are part of Chili’s Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and supporting dependable, fast service. The role involves following recipes and food-preparation methods, completing assigned prep work, stocking and setting up stations, and following safety and sanitation procedures. Prep Cooks also contribute to a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Properly execute all recipe procedures.
- Prepare a variety of foods using different methods of preparation.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
