About The Position
Border Cafe is looking for a dependable Prep Cook to join our kitchen team and help ensure the restaurant is properly prepared for service. This role involves preparing ingredients according to recipes and prep lists, completing daily prep efficiently and accurately, and maintaining a clean, sanitary work area while following all food safety and sanitation standards. The Prep Cook will also assist the kitchen team during service as needed.
Requirements
- Strong knife skills are required.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently is essential.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous kitchen experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and prep lists.
- Complete daily prep efficiently and accurately.
- Properly label, date, store, and rotate food.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work area while following all food safety and sanitation standards.
