As a Prep Cook, you help set the kitchen up for success by preparing the ingredients that bring our dishes to life. In this role, you are responsible for receiving deliveries, checking ingredient quality, and washing, cutting, and preparing produce and food items according to Din Tai Fung’s standards and procedures. Prep Cooks focus on precision and consistency, becoming familiar with the standard cutting sizes for all vegetables and ensuring everything is prepared with care and attention to detail. Maintaining a clean, organized prep station and thoroughly washing all produce are key parts of the role, helping ensure the kitchen is ready for smooth and efficient service.
