About The Position
Prep Cooks, known at Chili’s as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for each shift by providing dependable, fast service. They prepare food according to company recipes and procedures, complete assigned prep work, and help keep stations stocked and set up. The role calls for teamwork and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Properly execute all recipe procedures.
- Prepare a variety of foods using different preparation methods.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
