About The Position
Prep Cooks are members of Chili’s Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and keeping kitchen stations stocked and set up. They follow recipes and company safety and sanitation procedures while contributing to a safe, welcoming environment. The position is available with a flexible part-time or full-time schedule. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Properly execute all recipe procedures.
- Prepare a variety of foods using different preparation methods.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
